Rockin' Coffee Organic Specialty Coffees
I enjoy an occasional cup of coffee. Although I am pregnant, the doctor has told me that I can have that occasional cup and it's perfectly fine. I am a big fan of organic products so when I do indulge, I make sure it is organic coffee. My family (mother and husband specifically) truly loves coffee so I waited to review this coffee until we were at my mother's house for the holiday. It was the perfect time, as everyone woke up on Christmas Eve we grinded some Rockin' Coffee beans and brewed some coffee for everyone (minus the kiddos of course!). Product was received for review purposes and this post may contain affiliate links.
Rockin' Coffee is a new organic artisanal specialty coffee roasting company that offers organic, fair trade Arabica coffee blends. They are fresh roasted to perfection and can be delivered directly to you, the consumer! The facts that they are organic and fair trade coffee blends means a lot to my family. These are two of the features we look for in products we purchase. Outside of that, the taste is most important in a coffee.
We were sent three varieties of coffee to sample. All of the samples came as beans and we had to grind them. The smell of this coffee is OUT-OF-THIS-WORLD amazing! I love it!! The first coffee we tried was the Ethiopia medium roast coffee. I was rather impressed with the taste and found this variety to be my favorite, as did my mom. There were a wide range of tastes in this coffee, but the combination was perfect! We were also sent the Guatemala dark-medium roasted coffee. This one was still a good coffee but was not my favorite. It was my husband's favorite coffee. The final selection we were sent was the East Timor Dark Roast coffee. This coffee was still good in taste but was not my favorite. It is chocolaty flavor with hints of citrus.
It was great fun having a little coffee tasting party with my family on Christmas Eve morning. It was fun discussing the taste of each and sharing which coffee was our favorite. I was thrilled to be able to share some organic coffees with them!
