Best Anti Aging Skin Care and Much more…
This aging business is a recent source of worry for me. Until recently, I was just a dumb youngster oblivious to my skin's needs. Now, that I'm starting to see the wrinkles, age spots and strange areas of pigment loss I'm desperate to undo all my idiotic tanning bed sessions. While I may not be able to completely reverse these effects, I'd sure be happy with stopping their progression. So, I'm in search for the best anti aging skin care products out there. There are so many, it can be overwhelming to decipher what is what. Product was received for review purposes and this post may contain affiliate links.
When I first “heard” about this great boutique, I didn't actually hear it pronounced; I simply saw it online. I have a hard enough time with my native tongue, so I'm so glad they offer a cute video for people like me. 🙂 It's LOX-EE-TAN.
While I've never visited this boutique, their site is extremely impressive. (I'm thrilled to have discovered that there are several locations not too far from me.) If their website is this fantastic, I can only imagine what being surrounded in all these products must be like.
All their products are made with natural ingredients. Doesn't it feel like you've heard that a gazillion times from a billion other manufacturers? But, with L'Occitane en Provence, you have the opportunity to really see where they are harvesting their resources. Simply visit the site and click on an ingredient to see where it's from, how it's harvested and all their research on it's properties. Or, better yet, plan a trip to Provence! Either way, you can rest assured that all these ingredients come from the beautiful Provence area in France. And, this company has a profound respect for the land, its people, culture and tradition. They even use local knowledge passed on through generations when making their products.
I was really young when I got pregnant with my son, and all the buzz was how to prevent those dreaded stretch marks. I'm pretty sure people are still battling this one, but at that super vain age I was extra horrified. I used organic shea butter and didn't get any! I've heard arguments that they're genetic and I was just lucky, but that's what I used and my skin is stretch-mark free. So, it didn't hurt! Plus, this stuff smells good and leaves your skin feeling like soft silk so why not just slather it all over!
Okay, back to my search for the best anti aging skin care… L'OCCITANE uses two treasures of longevity: the immortelle flower, which never loses its color and shape–even when dried, and myrtle–a shrub several centuries old. They've combined extracted essential oils from these to create the Divine collection. Yowza. I want this NOW.
