Do you have clean drinking water?
Clean drinking water has not really been a huge concern for me because I am lucky enough to have the infamous “Chicago water.” I've visited places and lived where this water was not available and I was shocked, having taken this water for granted my whole life. But, even with our great water, I know it's not that clean. For years, I've been using a pitcher with a filter and never really thought much after that.
After receiving the ZeroWater Pitcher, we set up a little experiment. This kick-butt pitcher comes with a handy little tester that measures your Total Dissolved Solids (TDS). We tested our tap water, our previous filtered pitcher water, bottled water and then the water from our ZeroWater pitcher.
I was very disappointed to see that our old pitcher was barely cleaning the water at all! We even did a blind taste test, and you really can tell the difference. The “dirty” water has a slight chemical taste and the ZeroWater is super crisp and just tastes clean.
If you live in an area with well water or just not the greatest quality tap water, I would highly suggest this pitcher. It's funny how naive I've always been. Living here all my life, I grew up drinking from the tap. I'll never forget visiting my Aunt in Nebraska and taking a swig from the sink. I nearly barfed. They had the most disgusting well water I've ever tasted. I was so alarmed I thought their water had been poisoned! (I was only like ten so don't judge me too much.)
Now I don't have to buy bottled water ever again. I can just fill our own reusable sports bottles and save money, plastic and time!
