Chicken Soup for the Soul: Say Hello to a Better Body
I am only in my thirties, but I am already noticing how much harder it is to stay within my target weight. As a matter of fact, I have recently just changed my target weight for myself. Now that I am getting older I actually think a few more pounds might make me look a little younger. (Fills in the wrinkles???) But, I am also noticing that it's not that easy to quickly lose 5 pounds like it was in my twenties. Gone are the days of just skipping a few meals to drop some quick weight. Now I get shaky and crazy if I don't eat regularly, and it takes a lot of work to get back into the skinny jeans. I am also a lot more relaxed and not as appearance-obsessed now that I am more settled in life.
So, my point is that even though I am not over 50 I can still relate to this book. It's time to say goodbye to fad diets and say hello to a healthy lifestyle. Moderation is key now and we should all eat to fuel our bodies. Say Hello to a Better Body can help get you started and guide you along the way. From how to stop negative thinking, to how to eat right without counting calories, this book can act as your personal support group!
