Acne-prone skin has haunted me for most of my adult life. That is why I am beyond excited to tell you that I am participating in the Tria blogger review program! This means that I am reviewing the Tria Skin Perfecting Blue Light from Tria Beauty. Product received for review. Post contains affiliate links.
Skin Treatments at Home
Dermatologists have been using blue light treatments to treat acne for years. The blue light is a non-UV light therapy that gently eliminates acne causing bacteria. Tria Beauty offers a revolutionary handheld device that can be conveniently used in your own home. This FDA-cleared product gives the same effective and therapeutic results as the blue light that the doctors use. In minutes a day you can treat your skin easily and comfortably in your own home! This also can save you a lot of money by eliminating trips to the doctor.
I had the pleasure of meeting the Tria folks at BlogHer12. This is where I got to see the blue light in action and knew I had to try it for myself. Starting today I will begin using the Tria Skin Perfecting Blue Light on a daily basis. Stay tuned for updates on my results. ***Oh, and at the end there will be a giveaway for a chance to win your own!
Okay… get ready for an unfiltered picture of my gross skin! This is a rare appearance of my naked face. I typically never leave the house without at least some coverup on! All in the name of reviews, people!
My skin is actually not at its worst right now, but I do have a stubborn few zits that refuse to go away. You can see on my cheek that there are some breakouts. These have been there for a while. I am anxious to see if the blue light can get rid of them for good!
See in this super close up all the smaller, red bumps? That's actually how my whole face looks. Let's see if Tria can help. I am off to get this party started!
