Watch out coffee shops! Now that I can grind my own coffee beans, I have no desire to have coffee “out.” Woohoo! What a savings! Product received for review. Post contains affiliate links.
There is nothing like the smell of freshly ground coffee beans. The flavor is also unbeatable. I used to have an all-in-one coffee maker with a built-in grinder. The humidity from brewing the coffee would cause the grinder to get really gunky and it was near impossible to clean.
Bodum Bistro Electric Coffee Grinder
My electric coffee grinder from Bodum is so superior to all the others I've seen and tried. With a small twist, you can set the grinder for really fine grounds for espresso to really coarse for a French press. You can also grind just the right amount by setting the timer to grind enough for a full pot or just a cup.
This unit is really easy to clean and all the pieces are smooth and of the highest quality. The glass is blown individually for each piece! Using glass instead of plastic to catch the grounds also prevents the static bouncing and clinging of your grounds.
I was pleasantly surprised that this grinder is not that loud. I had expected it to be much more obnoxious sounding. But I can use it without waking up the rest of the house. Although, it's usually the smell that drags everyone out of bed. My kids don't even drink coffee (obviously) but even they can't resist the aroma. Yum!
Check out this video to hear the sound it makes…
The Bistro Electric Coffee Grinder comes in black, red, lime green and off white. I just love the red one I picked!
