Dog costumes are fun for every holiday. The Grump is now getting used to his holiday attire. 😉 PetSmart has been keeping him properly dressed for every holiday. Product received for review. Post contains affiliate links.
‘Tis the season for all the holiday dog toys, treats and costumes. PetSmart always has such a great collection. We got to pick out a toy and a costume. We chose the Martha Stewart Pets™ Elf Hoodie and the PetHoliday™ by ToyShoppe™ Christmas Squeaker Mat.
The Grump is a long dog. Sometimes it's hard to pick the right sized costume for him. This one fit him nicely and, like the other Martha Stewart costumes we have tried, it's well-made and high quality. I still have never managed to get the hood on his head, but that's okay. He still makes a cute elf if you ask me!
Holiday Dog Costumes
I found this costume to be a little harder to get on him than previous ones. I wish that it had a bigger Velcro opening, but we managed. He's actually starting to like wearing costumes, I think! Every time I take it off of him he runs after it like he wants it back. Unless he just wants to eat it… but, he seems more cooperative and willing to model his elf suit.
Please ignore his evidence of mass destruction on the carpet. :/
The Grump has not met a toy he didn't like. He especially loves the squeaker ones. This one is a mat full of squeakers! Both dogs went a little crazy for it. The only thing is that they love their toys a little too much… they always end up shredded eventually. Gladly, most of the dog toys at PetSmart last longer than others. They still end up dissected at some point, but we definitely get more life out of them.
