How about a nice cup of coffee to help with holiday stress? I was so excited to review Boca Java, they have so many unique flavors and options, as well as great programs and projects that they donate to, it seems like a win-win 🙂 Product received for review. Post contains affiliate links.
Learn About Coffee
First, before I jump in to anything – I wanted to point you to their Education page. It tells you all about the different regions, roasts, kinds of equipment, their roasting process and more. For people who didn't have a short stint as a barista in college – this is a great place to learn about the kinds of coffee and help you find something you might like more than what you are drinking now. For example – did you know that the LIGHTER the roast, the MORE caffeine is in it? You don't have to hit the bold roasts to get the caffeine pick-me-up you had been looking for in your coffee break.
Boca Java has a line of products (and beans) that are direct trade, so they are purchased directly from the farmers that grow the beans – this cuts out the middle man, and insures the farmers are getting a fair price for their product. They also have a program that allows you to donate bags of coffee to our troops – every bag that you purchase will be matched by Boca Java in 2012.
Unique Coffee Flavors
Their flavor variety is super fun – I chose Maple Bacon Morning and White Chocolate Raspberry Reef coffees, as well as the Peppermint hot chocolate powder mix for the holiday events we have coming up! They have Dessert Lovers selections like Bananas Foster or something for Ice Cream lovers like Coastline Creamsicle, or something like Pumpkin Paradise for the fall. They have both whole bean and ground varieties – I chose the whole bean, and both flavors were great! Maple Bacon even made my house smell a *little* like bacon!
