Okay. I am 28 years old, divorced, have two kids and am a full time student. Am I too old to be listening to club music? I'm honestly not sure. I love it. It gets me moving and keeps me active all while making me feel young and frisky. So I will keep listening, but am I too old to go to the live events? Probably. 🙁 Living just outside Chicago there are hundreds of clubs easily within an evening's reach…
I tried listening to more “responsible” music but when I saw this video last year for Tomorrowland the addiction to this energetic beat became permanent. Seriously, even if this isn't your genre of music, you can't deny the contagious energy created by this music. And, that's when I first discovered NERVO.
These Australian sister-DJ's remind me a bit of my sister and me. Okay, maybe not, but someday I hope my sister and I have even a fraction of their success. They are fantastic song writers, producers and artists. As artists in their own right NERVO recently celebrated their first Beatport #1 song with the official Tomorrowland Festival anthem “The Way We See The World” which they co-wrote and co-produced with Afrojack, Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike.
And tonight, NERVO is going to be in Chicago! They are playing at the MID!
So, I may be old and riddled with responsibilities, but I can still have fun! If you're in the area and share my passion, come on out for exciting night with NERVO!
What are your thoughts regarding age and music preference? (I realize there are sometimes behaviors and habits associated with certain types of music, but I assure you, I only endorse the clean and classy variety.)
