A game can really help with family gatherings. I will admit – I am getting a little anxious about spending a lot of time with family these next few days. I am afraid I MIGHT not be able to restrain my opinion from a noisy family member who might have asked my husband or I “when are the little ones going to be coming along?” one too many times. BUT now… I can Say Anything… kind of. With the Say Anything game from North Star Games. Product received for review. Post contains affiliate links.
Say Anything Family Game
Say Anything is a party game that allows you to get to know the people you are with – and what your friends are thinking! There are no right and wrong answers, just opinions and voting.
Here is how it works:
1. One person reads a question
2. Everyone else writes an answer
3. Reader chooses his/her favorite answer (but DON'T TELL)
4. Everyone else tries to guess their favorite answer
So… our experience with the game? We had tons of fun! It was a great way to get to know a new girlfriend who was at a recent family gathering – and in all honesty, everyone else at the table who I had known for YEARS. We are all quite sarcastic, so most of the answers were not what you would expect, but there were PLENTY of laughs around the table.
“In my opinion…”
What is the best leisure activity? ^^ see answers above
What's the best thing about being a woman? …. hmm, this was very different coming from men and women
An Alien ship landed on Earth. What should we do? … all of our answers came from popular (or not so popular alien movies or shows, like “V” or “X-Files”.
We had tons of fun getting to know each other by guessing answers or voting on what we thought others would decide was the best answer. You can purchase Say Anything at many retailers or Amazon.com.
Note: I reviewed an edition that is suggested for 13+ but they also have a family version that might work better for smaller kids. Check out other games from North Star Games on their website.
