I am so ready for winter to be over, I want to open the windows and let out the stuffy! Recently I was given the chance to work with Serenity Candle Company to review one of their soy candles, and it is helping the house feel less stuffy already – just by changing the scent in the home.
Serenity Soy Candles
Soy candles are 100% handmade vegetable candles, soy candles burn cleaner and last longer than paraffin. They do not leave the soot residue that other candles have, and are made of a great renewable resource. The candles from CandleShop.com have unique scents and come with a great price tag! With Scents like Apple Crumble, Cranberry Chutney, Lemon Lavender, Vanilla Verbena, Awapuhi Seaberry, Cucumber Cantaloupe, and more – there are classic scents and new mixes that I haven’t seen before. They have candles that range from tea lights – which burn for up to 5 hours each (woah! The cheap ones I have last maybe an hour!) to their extra-large jar candle that lasts from 150-170 hours (um… that is 7 whole days plus some, I am not saying you should burn it for that long, but that is a lot of burn time).
I tried the Ylang and Amber scent, just to get something a little flowery going (like I said… we are going for the feeling of spring). Admittedly, it was hard to pick a scent not having smelled it, but I was happy with my choice. The fragrance is just enough to fill the room, but not too overpowering, and I don’t have to worry about it leaving a sooty mark on my ceiling or walls.
