Novica, in association with National Geographic is a beautiful curated collection of products from artisans all over the world. Through the website you are able to find products that are hard-to-find, and a great value. So many of the items available have a story to be told about the creator and where they came from – it is special to receive a handwritten note along with my purchase from the family who made it. I was so excited to review an item from Novica.
Products from Across the Globe through Novica
Novica has home décor and accessories, along with clothing, bags, and so much more. With so many options, it was hard to choose what I wanted to review. I finally chose one of the silver pendants – “Happy Bird” – on the site it explains that it is made by a woman named Jantana, her parents retired from jewelry making, but she has carried on the tradition. She works in northern Thailand in a city called Chiang Mai (I am supposed to be going there next January – so this was especially cool to see!). I loved the story that goes along with the artisan and the piece that I now have to wear.
Novica is a great place for gifts. I found some beautiful items for friends and family, and I think it will be a great place for me to one-stop-shop near Christmas time. I found a great collection of silver wrap rings, and they also have beautiful Citrine Chandelier Earrings both of which have great options for the “moms” in my life. I also found some gorgeous patterned shawls in just about any color from India, Thailand, Indonesia and Andes. They have some really cute clothes too – like short sleeve blouses – I was a big fan of the Grace cotton blouse.
