I am so ready for fall to be here. I am not a summer person. I like sweaters, wool socks, blankets, and warm meals. Do you have a Crock-Pot recipe that is your go to recipe? Someone is coming over or you need something quick – so you throw it all in the pot and a few hours later – you are ready to go! Now you can enter a contest to win a year of free groceries up to $8,500 with that recipe! Starting September 26, 2013 up to October 17, 2013 you can submit your recipe at the Crockpot Seasoning Mixes Facebook page. Ten semi-finalists will be announced on October 24th and public voting will go from that time to November 14th 2013. The grand prize winner will be announced November 21, 2013.

They have seasoning mixes to help you make beef stroganoff, original chili, savory herb chicken, hearty beef stew, savory pot roast, and BBQ pulled pork. The prep time for most of the recipes are only 15 minutes, let it cook in the Crock-Pot for eight hours (a work day – how convenient?!) and then you are ready for dinner – voila!
