Manischewitz offers a variety of kosher food options – making it easy to keep a kosher kitchen (or kosher diet) – and even if you aren’t following kosher rules, they are still yummy side dishes, appetizers and more. They recently released new products for the holidays (there are quite a few Jewish holidays in the month of September), and I received samples for review, and so I could tell you all about them!
New Manischewitz Products for the New Year!
The Jewish New Year, Rosh Hashana, was celebrated on September 5-6 this year, with Yom Kippur (or the Day of Atonement) landing on September 14th. In celebration of the holidays, Manischewitz released new products – and a new app called the Manischewitz Recipe and Holiday guide available on Apple and Android devices. This would be super helpful as you are getting ready to celebrate the holidays and entertaining guests. Manischewitz is the nation’s largest manufacturer of processed kosher food products.
The new products include a new Rye flavor of their already popular Tam Tam crackers. They also released new Couscous mixes (we love couscous at our house!) in four varieties including: Mushroom and Olive Oil, Tomato and Spinach, Roasted Garlic and Olive Oil, as well as Herb and Vegetable. They also have Wide Egg Noodles and Honey Apple Macaroons – apples and honey together during Rosh Hashanah symbolizes a “Sweet New Year”
You can find most of Manischewitz’s product line at your local grocery store. If you are looking for recipes – they have a variety on their website, including a recipe swap. You can also find more information on the Jewish Holidays and ideas to celebrate on their website – and for fun, there is a kids corner with games and activities for your kids. Their website seems to have so many resources – and they even give back to local communities, find out more about where they are helping out.
