I am so excited about Christmas coming – this year we are going to be ready. I promise. (It all has to do with me starting to plan in October). I have a couple little girls (nieces) on my list, and gifts for them are always super pink and super fun to shop for! I was excited to find Piggy Paint, and even more excited when they sent me some to review!
Piggy Paint Kid Friendly Nail Polish
I hadn’t even thought about all the chemicals in nail polish. When I was growing up, I had always been “lovingly threatened” about how nail polish could stain, and I was reminded of it often. But, even worse, the creator of Piggy Paint, Melanie Hurley, recounted a story of painting her daughter’s nails over a foam plate, and a small drop of the polish actually ate through the plate! She quickly decided that she would find a solution for her little girl's fingers and toes. Piggy Paint is made in the USA and is free of formaldehyde, toluene, phthalates, biphenyl A, ethyl acetate, and acetone (and it will not eat through a foam plate!). It is a water-based formula, hypoallergenic, non-toxic, and has low odor.
Piggy Paint comes in so many colors – lots of fun pinks, greens, blues, and reds. I received a cute gift box and a selection of the piggy paints for review. It came with a variety of colors with super fun names like Sometimes Sweet, Jazz It Up, Dragon Tears, Girls Rule!, Forever Fancy, Mac-n-Cheese Please, Ice Cream Dream, and Tea Party for Two. You can find a gift set like this called Color Me Happy on the Piggy Paint website. You can find more information about Piggy Paint and their product offerings (they even have nail polish remover!) at PiggyPaint.com.
