My smile is worth about $60,000. LITERALLY. I have had complication after complication when it comes to dental work. It doesn't help that I'm super vain when it comes to my smile, but come on, who isn't! Your smile is the first thing people should remember about you–for it's beauty and charisma, not for the rotting yellow or missing Teeth.
Smile – At Dollar General!
After spending a small fortune on my smile, I will do whatever it takes to save money while preserving it. My biggest struggle is keeping my real teeth the same color as the fake ones. I am guilty of looking like corn on the cob with varying shades thanks to all the tea and coffee I drink. 🙁
Rather than spend a ridiculous amount on professional whitening treatments, I use these great P&G products like Crest® ProHealth Mouth Wash and Toothpaste to maintain my pearly whites. And, because I can get them at Dollar General, I am saving money every step of the way! When you order any Crest or Scope products, you can get $0.50 off any Oral B toothbrush.
Having confidence in my smile gives me the ability to brighten someone's day. It is such a small gesture but can pack such a wallop. I was simply grocery shopping and passed by a little old lady. She looked particularly grouchy, but I figured it was because she was in pain… every one of her bones appeared to be going the wrong direction from arthritis. But I threw her a smile and she actually stopped me and said, “Hello, dear. You are so pleasant, you remind me of my granddaughter. She was always smiling. She was taken by cancer last year. And, I won't monopolize your day, but I just wanted to thank you for the memory.”
It was at that moment I realized how the smallest gestures can make a difference in your day. Have you ever had a smile change your day? Perhaps your life?
I know when strangers smile at me my day is improved. So I like to think my smile will do the same for others. 😀
