I am so happy to bring you this post sponsored by Verizon about the importance of having quality internet service, especially for the holidays. I received compensation for this post, however all thoughts and opinions are my own.
Can Your Internet Service Handle the Holidays?
Typically the question is, “can YOU handle the holidays?” Between all the shopping, baking, cleaning and wrapping, you probably aren't thinking about internet service. But I bet there are several gadgets wrapped up under your tree… Can you imagine opening all these fun internet ready devices and then realizing your service doesn't have enough bandwidth to support them all? That would be such a nightmare! Which is exactly what Stanley here is trying to warn us about!
I know when I lose service, it's like my air supply has been cut off. Panic ensues and the entire household seems to turn upside-down until we are reconnected—and that is just on a regular day. But if we lost service or couldn't support all our new toys on Christmas morning, that would just be so disappointing.
We have several long distance relationships with family and being able to experience the holidays together via the internet is a huge part of our holiday. Those that are unable to travel can still see the kids open their presents. We take this wonderful technology for granted and often completely forget what it takes to keep it running smoothly.
This season, plan ahead and make sure to avoid a holiday disaster. According to PC Magazine, FiOS is America's fastest, most consistent and most reliable internet. I know I am asking Santa for that little black and red box this year!
