A good quick dinner recipe is always appreciated in this house. There are two of us living here, and we are both busy. Thank you to Helper for sponsoring today’s post and inspiring me to try your Free Ground Beef Rebate.
Quick Dinner Recipe
I thought that when I started working from home it would allow me to create elaborate meals from scratch. Excuse me while I snort laugh. It's quite the opposite. Working from home seems to create a time warp of speed. By the time I am ready to think about dinner, Mike is about to walk in the door from work. Perhaps I am just a horrible planner, but this is why I like to keep Hamburger Helper on hand. It's a quick dinner recipe that's easy to whip up in no time.

Iffy Appetizer – Try at Your Own Risk
Since I was stocking up, I wanted to try to create something unique for us. Well, the jury is out on this one. My creation was supposed to be Loaded Nachos. Mike thought this was an atrocious idea. I thought they were pretty darn good, but he was not on the same page. In any case, definitely use your own judgment. Hamburger Helper is delicious on its own. It totally does not need to be messed with!
To make my loaded nacho creation, I used the Cheddar Cheese Melt Hamburger Helper. I made it according to the box. Then, I lined a baking sheet with foil and spread out tortilla chips on top. Cover chips with refried beans, top with Hamburger Helper, and then add cheddar cheese. Broil for a few minutes. Keep a careful eye on them because you only want to melt the cheese. Transfer to plates and top with sour cream, black beans, and whatever else you like for toppings.
Like I said, Hamburger Helper does not need to be messed with. It's a delicious and quick dinner recipe that is yummy and filling.
Make sure to take advantage of the ground beef rebate and stock up!
