I never know what surprises my Dollar General store may hold. I look forward to every trip there. The one closest to me is tucked back a little bit where it almost looks hidden. It's never packed, and makes me feel like I have a secret location to scout. Sponsored post by Mirum Shopper.
We hosted Thanksgiving for the first time ever this year. Granted, it was for a whopping four people, but it still stressed me out! It was me, Mike, and my grandparents. My gram is the cleanest of clean people that's ever existed. She has a small barn, and I am not kidding you when I say she cleans the corners with a toothbrush — A BARN. I was not even dipped into that part of the gene pool, so I get panicky when I know she's coming over.
Mike and I went to town to get the house extra clean before their arrival. I have always heard great things about eraser pads but the one I had just crumbled and left a bigger mess to deal with. We have some stubborn stains around the sink that I am desperate to get out. No luck. I was ready to write eraser pads off for good until I saw Knock Out! at Dollar General. It promises to be 300% tougher than the leading competition.
Exciting Find at the Dollar General Store for Cleaning
The bright pink packaging summoned me over to read it. Knock Out! heavyweight eraser pads are equal to 6 regular eraser pads and promise not to crumble. For around a dollar, I am totally willing to give them a try. I tossed them in my cart with the rest of my cleaning supplies. After checkout, I had zero buyers' remorse, unlike my Cyber Monday spree. :/
So, now we are on a mission to be holiday-ready for the whole season. We got the base cleaning done for Thanksgiving, and now it's time for detailing. I am going to put these Knock Out! Eraser Pads to the test and keep you posted. Grab some during your next trip to the Dollar General store and join me. Let me know what you clean and how the pads hold up.
It feels weird to get so excited over an eraser pad, but that's adulthood for you, right? Plus, it would be nice to have something that quickly cleans up before company arrives.
