As a full-time mom and blogger, carrying around my big DSLR camera is rarely convenient. So, I aim to always have the best smartphone camera at all times. With this tech advancing faster than we could have ever imagined, it’s amazing to see just how far the Samsung Galaxy S8 camera has come since the previous model. My current Galaxy S7 has never let me down, so I’m thrilled to see the improvements in the GS8.

Samsung Galaxy S8 Camera

As I said, the S7 was my favorite out of all the phones I’ve ever owned. Now that I’ve had some time to experience the GS8, it’s safe to say this new generation of Galaxy is quickly taking that title. The Unlocked Samsung GS8 is available only on Walmart.com and the GS8+ is also available.

This photo was taken at the same time and has not been edited. The crispness, vibrancy, and clarity are obviously far better in the photo taken by the GS8.

Lookout Snapchat and Instagram! This super fun smartphone comes packed with hilarious and fun filters to keep you entertained for hours.

Not only does the camera outshine its predecessor’s, all the other features are fantastic:

  • The Galaxy S8 has the world’s first Infinity Screen. The expansive display stretches from edge to edge, giving the most amount of screen in the least amount of space.
  • With an IP68 water resistant rating, a splash or accidental dunk won’t ruin your life.
  • Fast wireless charging is where the world is headed. With built-in charging pads at most coffee shops and newer vehicles, the time of misplaced cords is over.
  • Room for up to 256GB of additional memory, there’s plenty of room for all those HD photos and video.

The Galaxy S8 is also a bit more narrow than the S7, so it fits my hand, and the buttons are easier to use one-handed.

I am so thankful to read this about the Samsung Galaxy S8 camera. I honestly need a new cell phone as I have a super cheap one with not enough memory and the camera does suck. I may have to look into getting this as my upgraded option!

That camera is awesome! I'd heard that the S8 had a major upgrade to the camera, but I hadn't had the chance to see it in real life. The difference is really obvious!

Wow, what an amazing camera, especially for a cell phone! I had no idea the S8 had such a killer camera! I love that it has wireless charging as well, that is super convenient!

The S8 is SO NICE! I have the S7 Edge and I agree - the camera is top notch, but the S8 is even better! I love taking it for trips so I don't have to bring my camera along.
