Teething is rough, but as a mommy, you can make it more fashionable with Jelly Strands. I received a necklace and bangles in exchange for my review of Jelly Strands, all opinions are my own.
Our little guy is a drooler and a chewer. Not because he was teething, just because he was bored, I guess. He especially likes wiping his little slimy hands on my beloved fashion scarves (I might have to rethink my love of scarves). Recently, he started grabbing things, like hair, jewelry, etc – not because he is especially attracted to it, but because he is learning to grab things and doesn’t realize how or what he grabbed. I don’t want to get upset with him – so I found an alternative – Jelly Strands!
The soft jelly like texture of Jelly Strands makes it soft for baby to chew. It is also much softer for me than metal jewelry that can cut into the back of my neck because baby is pulling on it. The silicone that is used is the same material used for most pacifiers and bottle nipples. It is BPA, PVC, lead, cadium, and phthalate free. Jelly Strands come in a variety of styles and colors. They have necklaces and bracelets. The colors range from greys and blacks (which is what I wanted) to bright colors like red or blue. The beads of the necklaces are tied off individually, so even if the cord breaks somehow – all the beads aren’t scattered everywhere (love that feature!).
Last week when the little dude started teething, I was so glad I had this teething jewelry. It made it easier to dress up my outfit with the Kate necklace as we headed to Memorial day outings and running errands in our carrier – I had something right there for little dude to grab and chew. The soft beads helped relieve the pain of chewing. While we were driving I could take off my Pierce bangles and let him hold and chew them on his own (babies and children should not be left alone with any jewelry products).
