Dream Essentials Eye Masks
I have a pretty stressful summer ahead of me. Tons of traveling due to work and research, and probably not nearly as much sleep as I had anticipated getting over my much-needed summer break. One of my biggest worries when considering these trips, in fact, has been how I will manage a healthy sleep schedule while not disturbing others in hotel rooms, planes, and even at home. When I had the opportunity to try the Dream Essentials Eye Masks, however, my questions were answered, and my worries were dissolved. Lucky for me, I got to try two different products from Dream Essentials. One was the Sweet Dreams Sleeping Mask, and the other was the Infinity Sleep Mask. Let me just say, I never realized there could be so much variation between eye masks before. These guys really have this down to an art.
The Sweet Dreams Sleeping Mask is probably going to be my go-to eye mask for traveling. This thing is super light and breathable, and is basically molded to fit your face. I was curious to know if this really had any benefits in terms of performance, and it turns out, it does! I quickly figured out that by having this form-fitting style, there is a lack of pressure on the eyes that I have frequently noticed with cheap dollar store eye masks. All light is blocked out, allowing comfortable sleep without you even feeling the mask itself! Pretty cool, huh? Another neat perk- this pair comes with foam ear plugs and a travel carry case. Talk about a deal!
The second mask, the Infinity Sleep Mask, seemed to be the luxury SUV of eye masks. Not only was this thing soft as could be- which is sort of expected, it is enrobed in fleece- but the inside is completely raised so that no part of your eyes touch the mask. Now, I know this is comfortable in general, but for those of us who have to snag a quick nap on the go, it’s nice to know our eye makeup won’t be smudged and ruined. Hey, it’s the little things that count. Oh, and ear plugs are included with this awesome guy too. The only thing I will warn about with this eye mask- and don’t get me wrong, I LOVED it- is that it is a little on the larger side. Although you could still probably travel with it just fine, I think I will stick with my original plan. This mask for at-home use, and the smaller mask for traveling. I need all the extra luggage space I can get!
You can find these wonderful eye masks online at the Dream Essentials site for varied prices depending on which mask you desire. I can testify to the fact that each and every eye mask, if anything like the ones I got, are well worth the money. Go pamper yourself!
