Earth Footwear Review
Earth Footwear really caught my eye for a couple reasons. For one, I love shoes! Secondly, I have been hearing some great things about them, like how comfortable they are. Since my sister and I plan to attend BlogHer in New York this summer, we will definitely need some comfy walking shoes!
Finding sandals that are comfortable, affordable and stylish can be almost impossible. The new Earth collection is all under $100, so that covers the affordable part. Prices range from $79 – $99, which is not bad at all for real leather, high quality shoes. Believe me, I walked the Vegas strip last year in $5 sandals and pretty much wore off the entire bottoms of my feet. I learned my lesson there!
I received The Bonsai Women's Wedge Sandal. They are made with a nice, soft leather with stylish cutouts. This is a style that can truly be worn with anything. A pair of shorts or a dress, casual or dressy – these can be it! The heel is the perfect size for me. High enough to be fashionable, but low enough to still walk comfortably.
Speaking of comfort, Earth Footwear nailed it! The new Earth Collection features a cushioned footbed for all day comfort. There is a padded heel area to displace shock, foot-stabilizing reinforced arch support, and a multi-density latex layer for extra support. I can definitely say that they are the most comfortable wedge sandals I have ever worn. Never have I ever been able to walk around in any form of heels so comfortably.
The Spring/Summer collection features a “positive heel” and does not have the “negative heel” technology, but you can still find them under their original name of Kalso Earth Shoes.
After experiencing these sandals for myself, I definitely consider them to be the complete package. This is now one less worry for walking around in New York during BlogHer! I can be comfortable while still looking great!
