Boating is our favorite thing to do in the summer. Our first summer boating trip is exciting, but also makes me nervous. I worry about everything. Although I am a naturally anxious person, I find that preparation can ease my worries a bit. It’s important to stock the boat with things you might need before that first trip.

First Boating Trip of the Summer Excitement

Last year we learned that it’s very easy to hurt yourself while boating. Being the less-than-graceful lady that I am, I tend to tip over and find unique ways to hurt myself all of the time. Well, when throwing out a bumper to prevent to boat from scraping a dock, I managed to scrape the heck out of my hand. I didn’t think to take pictures (blogger fail), but it did put a damper on my day.

Of course, we have a first aid kit on the boat and I wasn’t that badly hurt anyway. But, I am super excited to now have Puracyn.

Puracyn OTC Wound & Skin Care is a new first step in first aid. This innovative spray does not require running water or ointments to complete the process of cleaning the wound. This is especially ideal for busy kids and parents during the summer season. Everyone is much more active and that just means more opportunities to get hurt!

This is so great for our boating safety kit. Even though it’s usually me and not a kid that gets hurt, Puracyn will surely come in handy. On a boat you may be surrounded by water, but not the kind you clean out a wound with.

Think of how useful Puracyn could be for so many summer activities. Hiking, camping, road trips, sporting events, and so much more. Just a few sprays and a bandage on a minor cut or scrap, and continue on with your fun day. Since it’s free of antibiotics, it won’t burn or irritate the skin. The patented solution of electrochemically treated saline mimics compounds naturally produced in the body, making it ideal for wound care.

Puracyn Favorite Summer Firsts Giveaway

Through 7/24/14, enter for a chance to win some amazing prizes. One winner will be chosen and announced on Facebook each week at around 12:30pm ET each Thursday. Prizes consist of four summer themed prize packages to help you have fun at the beach, on a camping trip, at a BBQ, or more. Winners will also receive a first aid kit that includes Puracyn OTC Wound & Skin Care.

Purchase Puracyn in the first aid aisle at Meijer, Rite Aid, Walgreens and other retailers nationwide. Suggested retail price for a 4 oz. bottle is $14.99.

This is a product-provided, sponsored conversation that contains affiliate links. I received one 4 oz. spray bottle of Puracyn® OTC Wound & Skin Care and a branded first aid kit. All opinions, text and experiences are my own.

These are great products. When I go on outings, I try to take along everything I’ll need, but sometimes between grabbing toys, blankets, snacks, and whatnot, first aid products can fall by the wayside. This is the perfect answer! It’s portable, easy, and effective.

As a mom, I try to be prepared for anything when I go on outings with my family. I love these Puracyn products, because they’re portable, easy to use, and I can treat pretty much any minor injury my kids may get.

It is so easy to hurt yourself on a boat! So slippery and its always rocking! A first aid kit is a must.

It’s true, clean water isn’t always available on hand, especially outdoors in a remote site. Keeping a solution like this in the first aid kit probably makes cleaning out a wound/cut easier and definitely will prevent infection!
