My First Satellite Interview and New Parent Plan

Beth Blecherman is a new addition to my real-life hero list. I had the honor of participating in this sponsored campaign where I got to do my first ever satellite interview and ask Beth my questions. I also received a copy of her book and one year subscription to Office 365! Beth is the author of My Parent Plan and founder of TechMamas.com among many other impressive accomplishments.

My First Satellite Interview

Okay, I have an entirely new perspective on interviewers, interviewees, talk show hosts and the like. I was a nervous spaz and didn’t even have to worry about being seen! I was totally stressed out about asking my questions and how to prepare for such a short time slot. I received a copy of Beth’s book, My Parent Plan, the day before this interview. I picked it up and seriously didn’t put it down until I finished it. I found it to be incredibly inspiring and brilliantly simple.

That being said, I was a bit star struck to actually get to speak with Beth! I had an entire page of questions and couldn’t wait to pick her brain. I only had ten minutes with her, but in that short time she gave me the motivation I need to get organized and take control of my life.

My New Parent Plan

I guess it may not be new to you, but having an actual parent plan is brand new to me. So my new plan is to just have one. Sounds kinda ridiculous, I know. But, getting pregnant at sixteen was never part of my plan. I guess I’ve just been flying by the seat of my pants ever since. My kids are now eleven and eight. I really should have things more ‘together’ by this point but as Beth says, “It’s never too late to make your plan!”

I love every aspect of My Parent Plan. It is a very quick and easy read and makes you feel like you can accomplish anything… because YOU CAN with the right plan!

Beth goes on to explain how technology can help immensely with time-saving tricks and staying organized. As a former project manager for huge companies, she understands exactly how to juggle several responsibilities at once. I also received a one year subscription to Office 365 which I fully intend to put to full use!

Here’s to getting organized and achieving goals! <fist bump followed by super animated hand explosion>   🙂  Thank you Beth!
