Kashi Four Cheese Pizza
I recently had the pleasure of trying the all new Kashi Four Cheese Pizza. Kashi has been a favorite brand of mine for a while now. Their innovative foods are an easy way to eat healthy. All of their foods are minimally processed and contain no highly refined sugars or artificial additives. They have a large variety of items to choose from including cereals, bars, crackers, and several frozen items. Each one that I have tried has been pretty tasty.
This latest addition features a delicious combination of provolone, mozzarella, white cheddar and fontina cheeses. All on top of a crispy, thin, stone-fired crust with a zesty vegetable sauce. The sauce is made from real tomatoes, onions, garlic and carrot juice concentrate. These all-natural, vegetarian ingredients offer up a whopping 6g of fiber, 15g of protein and 14g of whole grains per serving in this three-serving pizza.
Whenever we order pizza I typically opt for plain cheese pizza and Mike usually chooses sausage and/or pepperoni. Rarely will he ever eat just cheese. However, he agreed to give this one a try with me.
We both love the pizza! At first I thought the sauce was way too spicy for me, but I got used to it quickly and now enjoy the kick. That is actually Mike’s favorite thing about the pizza. With him being such a meat-lover I was a little surprised at how much he liked it. He has had a whole pizza to himself for lunch over the last three days. Considering what he usually eats, this is a much healthier choice. This pizza makes a quick, wholesome meal that is both nutritious and delicious!
