Naked Juice reduced calorie smoothies
Who eats their recommended daily servings of fruits and vegetables? I am not sure if I ever have…even on my healthiest days. Thank goodness you can make up for it in juice-form. We have a juicer and occasionally go on kicks using it. What a pain that is, though! Not only is it messy and takes forever to clean, but you have to go to the store every couple days for mass quantities of fresh fruits and vegetables to juice. It’s so much more convenient to have Naked Juice 100 percent juice smoothies on hand. Product was received for review purposes and this post may contain affiliate links.
I have been a Naked Juice fan for a few years now. I have also developed a recent obsession for coconut water. Turns out that the folks over at Naked now use coconut water to create their lower calorie blends! Reduced calorie Lychee and reduced calorie Citrus Lemongrass both contain coconut water making them only 100 calories! I love when these creations can be made naturally and without the use of artificial sweeteners or ingredients. The coconut water allows them to maintain flavor, but with less calories. All while maintaining their bare-naked status! Oh, and they are also delicious as can be. No sacrificing in the taste department either.
Okay, so fruit juice is easy to swallow, but what about your veggies? Naked Juice now has a new smoothie to help you with your daily veggie intake, too. Mango Veggie contains yellow carrots, sweet potato, sweet corn, apple, chick peas, lemon and butternut squash. This all adds up to two full servings of veggies and one serving of fruit. And, it can all be consumed on your way to work! What an easy way to incorporate a whole bunch of vitamins, nutrients and even fiber into your diet quickly. Now, if you just read that crazy combo and instantly cringed….don’t worry, so did I, but I assure you it is scrumptious! The mango does a great job of masking anything that might be a little funky in there. At least funky to me…I would never think of drinking corn! But, it’s really tasty and a nice afternoon treat that I look forward to.
As cold and flu season quickly approaches, we should all be doubling up on as many fruits and vegetables as possible!
