If you think baby food looks gross, you can make it SO much cuter with Squooshi! I was so excited to receive a starter pack of Squooshi food pooches for our little guy, the pouches have adorable animals on them – and make it more fun to make our own baby food and take it with us on the go.
Squooshi Pouches for your Mini Foodie
I love my blender – I make smoothies, soups, and nut butters. I knew I was going to be fond of making baby food – because it means I know exactly what is in that pureed goop I am feeding my child. I throw peas and water together and I have the same thing I get at the store, but better, more natural. However, storage gets to be annoying. The natural food has to be refrigerated (as opposed to the food at the store with all the preservatives), so that means lots of containers are required to make food. The Squooshi reusable pouches allow for me to store all of my baby food in easy to use, on the go pouches. They are dishwasher safe so I can use and reuse them over and over again. They are freezable, and come with a no-choke cap.
I received a starter set that came with small (2.5oz) and large (4.5oz) pouches, replacement caps, date labels (that dissolve in the dishwasher!), and Sip’n silicone tops from Choomee. I love the cute animals on the pouches, and the Choomee tops have made it easier for our little guy to get used to eating from the pouch (we still need some practice with self-feeding, but he is well on his way for such a little guy!). The top also keeps the food from spilling out as he tries to figure out how to line up the spout with his mouth (we are learning fine motor skills people!) It is so much easier to fill the pouches if you can pour directly from the blender. Squooshi has a filling station that makes it even easier to fill your Squooshi pouches – that might just be on my birthday list!
