amagicalmess.com

Ingredients: – Vanilla ice cream – Butter – Cornflakes – Ground cinnamon – Granulated sugar – Whipped cream – (Optional toppings) chocolate syrup, honey, cinnamon, maraschino cherries

Scoop out one cup of ice cream and roll it into a ball. Create four evenly-shaped 1-cup balls.

Place the ice cream balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and freeze until they are firm.

Melt the butter in a large skillet. Add the crushed Cornflakes, sugar, and cinnamon and stir until the flakes are coated with butter.

Pan fry the mixture over medium-low heat for 4-5 minutes, or until the Cornflakes turn golden brown. Be careful not to burn.

Let the flake mixture cool to room temperature.  Remove the ice cream balls from the freezer.

Roll each frozen ice cream ball in the flake mixture until evenly coated.

Put the coated ice cream back into the freezer until you are ready to serve.

Right before serving, take the ice cream balls out of the freezer and add toppings, like chocolate syrup, honey, cinnamon, whipped cream, and a cherry on top!

Sooooo good! Fried ice cream from home whenever you want it!
