Halloween Pasta Salad

Our most popular Halloween recipe -- spooky pasta salad! Perfect for Halloween parties. 

Ingredients For the pasta: – Box of farfalle pasta – Black food coloring – Water

Ingredients For the pasta salad: – Orange bell peppers – Mozzarella balls – Shelled edamame – Italian dressing – Red onions – Black olives

Follow the instructions on the pasta package to make the pasta bats. Rinse the cooked pasta under cold water until completely cool. Fill a pan or bowl with the cooked pasta and just enough water to cover.

Add black food coloring and stir until well combined.  Soak the pasta for 5 minutes, stirring frequently to distribute the color.

Cut the pepper into star shapes and chop the onions. Use the mozzarella balls and olives to make “eyes” on the top of the salad.

Rinse the colored pasta under cold water in a strainer until the water runs clear. Place the pasta in a bowl and toss with the remaining salad ingredients.

Top with mozzarella "eyes" and serve!
