Mint Chip Edible Cookie Dough

Ingredients – Unsalted butter – Granulated sugar – Peppermint extract – Heat-treated flour – Salt – Green gel food coloring – Milk – Mini chocolate chips

To heat treat flour, heat it in the oven or microwave until it is 175 degrees F. This is how you make it safe to eat raw.  Do not skip this step!

Cream together the butter and the sugar in a large bowl until fluffy (about 2 to 3 minutes).

Add in the peppermint extract, heat-treated flour, salt, food coloring, and milk. Beat until well combined.

Mix in the mini chocolate chips until combined.

Serve with tiny spoons. Store any leftovers in an airtight container for up to a week in the refrigerator.

Do not try to bake this dough. This is a no-bake dessert. We get to safely eat raw cookie dough -- the best part!
