Wolfgang Puck has just released his new product – Wolfgang Puck’s Organic Cold Brewed Iced Coffee!
Exciting times! Product was received for review purposes and this post may contain affiliate links.
Puck adds his unique blend of passion and love to create memorable moments with his new product. It is cold brewed deliciousness! I received 1 bottle of each organic, (have I already mentioned its ORGANIC!!!) flavor: Double Blend Mocha, Crème Caramel, Cafe Au Lait, and Vanilla Fusion. Standard issue in the naming department but the one I wanted to try the most was the Tahitian Vanilla – there’s just something about the description that lures you in… “Espresso and organic milk infused with aromatic Tahitian Vanilla.” YUM – and guess what? Puck DELIVERED!
I pulled it out of the fridge this morning to have in place of my, standard issue 2 cups of, steaming hot french roast, (black with sugar in case you’re wondering), and I was eye popping surprised at just how yummy it was. Vanilla is one of my favorite ingredients – it seems such a simple thing but what it can add to a dish is often complex in its full flavor. So, when I finished off that bottle I reached for the Cafe Au Lait next – not as impressive as the Vanilla and I think it has more to do with the ‘lightness’ of the coffee and the added lightness of the lowfat milk used – we don’t often drink milk in our house – but when we have it we always use whole organic milk, never a percentage of it, (really unhealthy to use lowfat or skim milk BTW – as all the NATURAL nutrients are removed with the fat and then they need to change the chemical make up of the milk by adding them back in after processing…. I digress), so if I am going to have milk in my coffee I prefer it to have some weight to it. I didn’t finish this bottle, replacing it in the fridge to pawn off on my husband over ice later.
Next I grabbed the Crème Caramel. I’m such a sucker for sweet things and this was impressively sweet, but not over the top to the point that I felt like I have a mouth full of salty caramels, (not a bad thing), but rather it brings to your taste buds the creamy, buttery essence of caramel but the bitter counterpart of the coffee… Perfectly blended together. The Double Blend Mocha I am saving as a special treat, a dessert. I already know I am going to love it. The color is right, (a deep dark hot chocolate color), and his other flavored blends were right on the money.
When it comes to coffee I am often unimpressed. I’ll order a Coke before coffee, in a typical restaurant – or iced tea, if I think they can nail that. Wolfgang Puck’s new product Cold Brewed Ice Coffee has nailed it… and more importantly, it satisfies. For this coffee lover, (who thinks Starbucks offers up the crappiest coffee, (both blended and otherwise), this side of the equator), I was skeptical, at best, that another prepackaged coffee product would make me smile, let alone in the morning – But guess what? I was sold! And now I am off to tweet to Whole Foods Markets in Maui that they must begin carrying my new favorite ‘go-to’, hurry up, cannot wait for it to brew coffee product; Wolfgang Puck’s Cold Brewed Iced Coffee!
“Cold brewed using the finest organic espresso, organic milk, cane sugar and other specially chosen ingredients, my new ready-to-drink iced coffees epitomize the quality, care and passion that I put into all of my recipes. Cheers, my friends!” Wolfgang Puck
