Add peppermint oil to coffee and mix well. Set aside.
¼ tsp peppermint oil, 1 ½ cup coffee
Add milk to a large saucepan and heat on medium-low, frequently stirring, just until bubbles begin to form around the edges. The mixture will get frothy.
4 cup milk
Reduce heat to low and add hot chocolate mix.
1 ¾ cup hot chocolate mix
Whisk well until combined.
Add coffee mixture and heat on medium-low until hot.
Pour into mugs and top with whipped cream, a candy cane, and any other toppings you like.
