Instructions
Place your cake on a decorative serving dish or board.
9 inch round prepared frosted cake
Starting with the red Sixlets, arrange one row in preferred rainbow shape on the top of the cake. I did an 'S' shape, but you could do a zig-zag or the traditional arch. Press each Sixlets into the frosting lightly so they stay in place.
⅓ cup Red Sixlets
Following the line of the red Sixlets, repeat with remaining colors in the ROYGBIV order--red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet.
⅓ cup Orange Sixlets, ⅓ cup Yellow Sixlets, ⅓ cup Green Sixlets, ⅓ cup Blue Sixlets, ⅓ cup Indigo Sixlets, ⅓ cup Violet Sixlets
Use the remaining Sixlets to decorate the base of the cake. Create a rainbow pattern with individual candies in a row or make color blocks as shown.
Press a few Sweet Shapes stars into the side of the cake where the rainbow ends.
