Unicorn Hot Cocoa Whips

Frozen unicorn whipped cream toppers made with colorful whipped topping, sprinkles, and a marshmallow horn. A fun way to add magic to mugs of hot chocolate or warm drinks.

  • Cut the marshmallow into small ½-inch triangles using kitchen shears to create unicorn horns. Set aside.
    2 oz Yumallo Rainbow Swirl Marshmallow
  • Clear space in the freezer for a baking sheet or cutting board. Cover it with wax paper and trace the rim of a mug to guide the topper size.
  • Place half of the whipped topping into a pastry bag and snip the tip to about ½ inch wide. Set aside.

  • Divide the remaining whipped topping into three bowls. Color each bowl red, blue, and purple (mix 5 drops blue with 1 drop red). Mix well.

  • Transfer each color to a separate piping bag fitted with a decorating tip.
  • Pipe a unicorn head and neck shape inside the traced circle using the white whipped topping. Press a marshmallow triangle into the top as the horn.
  • Add a second layer of white topping for thickness and pipe a mane down one side of the head.
  • Use the colored whipped toppings to add bangs and fill in the mane. Add a second layer if desired.
  • Sprinkle lightly with candy pearls or sprinkles.

  • Freeze for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  • When ready to serve, gently lift with a spatula and place on hot chocolate.
