bacon
reg or thick, pork or turkey

whole water chestnuts

brown sugar
for sprinkling on top
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350℉
Drain water from chestnuts
8 oz whole water chestnuts
Cut bacon strips into 3rds
1 lb bacon
Cut water chestnuts in 1/2 or 1/4 size pieces
Line a pan/cookie sheet with parchment paper
Roll each piece of water chestnut in bacon and secure with a round, sharp toothpick (When using thinner bacon you can wrap it around twice)
Sprinkle each with brown sugar
1 tbsp brown sugar
Place pan of prepared appetizers into oven and bake at 350℉ for approx 25-30 mins, or until bacon is done to your liking.
When done, remove and let cool a bit
Serve warm
