Frosting

cream cheese

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350℉ and grease mini muffin pan with butter
In a large mixing bowl, beat sugar and butter with a hand mixer until light and fluffy
½ cup sugar,
5 tbsp butter
Mix in egg and vanilla
1 egg,
1 tsp vanilla extract
Mix in flour, salt, and baking powder
¾ tsp baking powder,
1 ½ cup flour,
¼ tsp salt
Separate dough into two parts. Mix blue food coloring in one and red in the other

Mix both colors of dough together and form into small bouncy ball sized balls
Press each dough ball slightly into the bottom of each muffin mold
Bake for 10 mins
Right out of the oven, press center of cookies to create an indent and let cool
While your cookies are cooling, mix together butter, cream cheese, vanilla, and powdered sugar until you have a thick creamy frosting
5 tbsp cream cheese,
3 tbsp butter,
1 tsp vanilla extract,
3 cup powdered sugar
Scoop frosting into a piping bag and cut off tip
Frost the center of the cookies using a swirled motion
Top with blue and white star sprinkles and enjoy
