It’s All Part of Being a Mom – Happy Mother’s Day
My kids are now ten and seven-years-old. In the last decade of being a mom I’ve been through some scary, great and odd times. I found a few pictures of the kids in action to share in the spirit of Mother’s Day.
Every mom’s worst nightmare: that blood-curdling scream you just know isn’t fake and your baby is hurt. I was unloading groceries from the car and in those few seconds she managed to fracture her arm jumping off the bunk bed.
All Part of Being a Mom
Yeah, I was “that mom.” Took her to the doctor thinking there was something seriously wrong here. The doctor made me look down and feel the back of my neck and said “You’re both just fine.” :/
Yeah, so, my daughter, um, swallowed a cross. That was a fun day. And the following days were even better; you know, trying to see if it ‘passed.’
This was just recently… she broke it again! This time it was during gym class at school.
And between all those horrific stressful moments, the really cute stuff happens. She’s about three years old here. I suddenly thought the worst when I heard water running but found her doing the dishes for me. <3
After a long day at the zoo… yes, I definitely woke them up by honking the horn. 😀
This one just makes me smile.
My little weirdo. I’m so proud. 🙂
I don’t even know what to say…
Up-side-down Boop. (Boop is his nickname and will be forever, I don’t care how old he is.)
They grow up so fast. He got up super early to do his hair before school, all to impress a girl.
Being a mom is so much, just so many things, that there is no real way to describe it. But as mothers, we can all relate. I hope you all have a wonderful day. Take some time to look at old pictures that make you smile! I know this made my day!
It’s definitely a mixture of all those good, bad, and hilarious times that make motherhood worth it, or so I’m told 🙂
Happy Mother’s Day to you as well!
