Taco nights are the best nights if you ask me. We have a lot more than Taco Tuesday going on in this house!
Tuesdays are for Tacos. Tacos are for Pace®
What’s not to love about taco night? Tacos are quick and easy to make, easily customizable for picky eaters, and a darn good excuse to break out the Pace®. Pace® is America’s Favorite Salsa for Tacos.

Pizza night is another hot day on the calendar. Let’s combine the two, shall we? With a double decker taco pizza, you get the best of both dinners combined!
Taco pizzas are relatively just as easy to make as tacos. Make mini pizzas so everyone can choose their fillings and toppings.
You can get everything you need for taco pizzas at Walmart, including Pace® Medium Picante Sauce and Pace® Chunky Salsa.
Offer up plenty of toppings and additions like sour cream, guacamole, peppers, lettuce, and other chopped veggies.
Of course, make sure you have Pace® Medium Picante Sauce for topping the taco pizzas. Pace® has a bold kick of flavor to really enhance any taco dinner.
Chips and Pace® Chunky Salsa are also necessary. Just try not to totally fill up on chips and salsa while your taco pizza is cooking. 😉
How to Make a Double Decker Taco Pizza
My original plan was to use tortillas for my taco pizza. I have a friend who makes taco pizzas all the time that quickly told me that was a bad idea.
Since I wanted more than one layer to my pizza, using pizza crust would be a much sturdier option.
No problem. Just buy pizza crusts instead of tortillas. Get pre-made crusts or make your own.
Make ground beef however you usually would for tacos. Use your favorite seasonings or whatever you prefer as if it was a typical Taco Tuesday.
You can make a big batch of homemade taco seasoning to have ready for recipes like this.
Layer the ground beef mixture and cheddar cheese on one crust. Add refried beans and mozzarella cheese to another crust. Place the third plain crust on your baking sheet, as well.
This is for one mini pizza. My pizza pan can only hold three crusts at a time.
Bake at 400 degrees for 5-7 minutes just to crisp up the crusts and melt the cheese.
Place the pizza crust with beans on top of the one with ground beef. Top with the third plain layer of crust. Add more shredded cheese to the very top and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, checking often.
Allow the pizza to sit for a couple minutes before slicing. I kept my layers really thin because I was afraid the filling would smush out and look sloppy in pictures. Next time, when no photos are required, I will add a lot more filling!
Of course, you can switch up the cheeses and add any additional fillings you want.
Top finished pizza slices with Pace® Medium Picante Sauce, lettuce, peppers, and any other veggies. Dip into sour cream and guacamole if you so choose.
