Easy Homemade Iced Caramel Macchiato Recipe
If you love to buy an Iced Caramel Macchiato from your favorite coffeehouse, try this recipe to make one at home.
I often have days where I take great peace in the fact that I don’t have to leave the house. That doesn’t squash my coffee cravings, so I like to have a lot of recipes I can make from home.
Iced Caramel Macchiato from Home
When I am out and about forced to explore the real world, I most definitely reward myself with a trip through the drive-thru.
However, it’s amazing to have the option to whip up my favorite coffee drinks at home whenever I want, too.
No need to worry about seasonal flavors or items that go in and out of stock when you have a good batch of homemade coffee recipes in your arsenal.
As I type this, it’s painfully cold outside. Does that make me want hot coffee only? Nope.
I still crave iced coffee in the afternoon. My mornings are for cozy, hot coffee, while the afternoons are iced all the way.
No need to bundle up and venture out for my afternoon drink. Within minutes, I can whip up an iced caramel macchiato in my kitchen.
Heck, I can even get the blender out and turn it into a frappuccino if I want.

How to make the iced coffee
Brew some strong coffee so you can let it cool. I like to use a dark roast, and make sure it’s not too diluted with water. The ice and other ingredients will cut into the coffee flavor, so it’s best to start with a strong one.
Add the vanilla syrup into your tumbler. You can also use a glass or whatever you like to drink out of.
Fill 3/4 of the way with ice.
Add milk to the glass or tumbler. Feel free to use a milk substitute if that’s what you prefer.
Add the cooled, strong coffee.
Drizzle with the caramel sauce.
Stir well before drinking.
This iced coffee recipe is very refreshing and not overly sweet. If you like your drinks extra sweet, add more caramel topping to your liking.
How to lighten up this iced caramel macchiato
If you’d like to decrease the sugar and calories in this recipe, feel free to try sugar-free vanilla syrup, skim milk, and sugar-free caramel topping.
That’s the beauty of making coffee drinks from home — you have complete control over the ingredients you use.
Save time, save money, and choose the ingredients by playing barista in your home!
