Owning a proper blender, like the Blendtec Designer Series is something everyone should make a top kitchen priority.
Life is so busy, we all have a million excuses for not eating right. But a good quality blender can make preparing healthy meals so much easier.

With the Blendtec Designer Series blender, everything in the kitchen is faster, easier and just plain more fun!
Its sleek design and touchscreen display is attractive and couldn’t be easier to clean. The Wildside jar is large and super easy to clean as well. Unlike some blender jars, you can fit your whole hand in there to get it really clean when washing, or just put it in the dishwasher.
The brilliance of the Wildside jar is something I think anyone that has ever used a crappy blender can understand. My biggest pet peeve was having to open the jar (on my last blender) to push all the ingredients back down towards the blade after they had bounced off and created an air pocket. Most of the time, this would have to be repeated several times and I’d still end up with chunks that didn’t get blended in. The square design with the fifth side of the Wildside produces a better blending vortex.
With a much larger and more powerful motor, this blender can handle all your kitchen needs. It takes the place of many other appliances; it’s a whole juicer, meat grinder, latte machine, bread mixer, ice cream maker, grain mill, coffee grinder, milkshake mixer and a blender.
I woke up this morning with the worst sore throat of my entire life. It feels like I swallowed broken glass. I opened the Blendtec recipe book and found one for Peach Frozen Yogurt. This was a great idea. 🙂
Making this took all of four minutes. My throat and stomach were definitely happy!
Using the pre-programmed blend cycles, this really doesn’t get any easier. The blade will speed up or slow down as needed depending on what you are making. For this, I used the Ice Cream cycle. It took about 45 seconds and everything was mixed perfectly.
I took a quick video of our very first blend–see it at the top of this post. The Blendtec is so incredibly user friendly. Even though I was a total noob, everything turned out great.

3 way pouring
The design of the Wildside jar sucks food down toward the blades, eliminating the need for stirring. (My friend has one of these blenders, and it’s awesome!)

You know what impresses me? 1,560 watt commercial-grade motor. I’ve lost count of the number of blenders I’ve ‘burnt up” over the years.

I love the color choices the most believe it or not! Most blenders are boring-looking.
I like the 4 inch blade because it offers more surface for blending and that means a smoother blend with less heat building up when you’re blending cold foods, like smoothies.

Saw a live demo in my area recently and I regret not buying. The Blendtec product created awesome juices, shakes, and ice cream. Didn’t love the soup, but that was the recipe more than the capability of the blender. I will own one within the year!

This blender is a perfect fit for any family. In my case, I am particularly drawn to its easy-to-use features. After looking over the product’s description, I am sure that even my father (whose English is still not too good) will be able to make himself a smoothie on a hot day! 🙂

I like the fact that this can make smoothies. Just last week, I found some mold groing in my blender from the last time I used it (appearently I did not clean in between the blades good enough). It was soaked in bleach for a few days and has gon through at least 5 dishwasher cycles. I may end up tossing it out since it was that discusting. Winning something like this would make that decision easier. 🙂

It’s made in the U.S.A.! Vents for use with hot liquids and it’s BPA free! I haven’t been able to find a decent hard working blender in years. This sounds like a serious winner.

I really like how light it is (1.5 lbs) but still has a large capacity.
