I have been driving a Chevy Avalanche for a while now. The new Chevy Impala might make me ready for car. Pretty sure my truck phase might be over and cars are looking a bit nicer to me now! This is a Fashionista Events opportunity.

I have been a “truck girl” for most of my life. Growing up with a family of construction workers, I just always loved being in a truck. Being higher off the ground and in a huge machine always made me feel safer. People laugh because I am short and clearly don’t really “fit” into a humungous vehicle. I never cared and always insisted that I wanted the biggest Chevy truck I could get.

Turns out I suck at driving large machines. I cannot tell you how many times I have plowed over curbs, sideswiped poles, and who knows what else in my truck. It’s just too darn big for me to see and feel what I am doing. I am woman enough to admit that, darn it. I also whacked the mirror off pulling out of the garage. 🙁

I purchased the Chevy Avalanche a while back when money was better and gas was a lot cheaper. Now that things have changed I wouldn’t mind downsizing a bit. The truck is awesome and a darn sweet setup when it comes to towing the boat, but having a car for everyday use would be ideal.

The Chevy Cruze isn’t bad either!

What kind of vehicle do you drive? What’s your favorite Chevy?

  1. When I was growing up we had a 57 Chevy station wagon that took us on a lot of vacations. I had my Toyota for 20 years and have had my Hyundai for 10. I like good gas mileage.

  2. I like the Impala, I don’t really have a fav car. I loved having a truck, but only as a second car. Once I switched to smaller cars, I realize how much easier they are to drive, ie curbs, parking in tight spots, etc.
