Punch makes a great party drink and it’s something that seems to have been overlooked as we have gotten older. My girlfriends and I try our hardest to have a girls’ night in monthly. Life gets in the way quite often, but we definitely make a point to make time for each other. I have a solid group of friends that I am truly blessed to have by my side. Most of them have been around since preschool or grade school and they are more like family than friends.

Girls’ Night In Essentials

So what are some of the essentials that make girls’ night in a blast? For our group I would say just the people, food and drinks. Our main goal is to talk and catch up with each other, so that leaves loud bars out. Our “GNO’s” turned into “GNI’s” within the last five years that’s for sure. To make your besties the happiest, here are a few things that I think you should have ready:

  • Food or light appetizers
  • Drinks (have both booze and non-alcoholic beverages to choose from)
  • Board games
  • Chick flicks
  • Fully stocked iPod with dance music
  • Room for possible sleep-overs
  • Desserts

Sometimes we like to play board games or watch a chick flick. There have been times when we just blast the music and declare a basement dance party. You just never know. All I know is that I usually walk away feeling like I’ve had an ab workout from laughing. It’s awesome. Clearly, the list would change depending on your group of friends and their interests, but drinks are usually one everyone’s menu!

Raspberry Acai Punch

Trop50 has a new tasty juice, Trop50 Raspberry Açaí. There are so many recipe possibilities using this drink, but I was set on going with a punch creation. Since Trop50 Raspberry Açaí has less calories, most of my friends will highly appreciate that. With the weather warming up, this will make for the perfect outside patio drink. When it comes time for me to host the girls’ night in, my patio is the best spot to hang out.
