Tips for Black Friday Shopping
Black Friday shopping can be intense and intimidating, but it can also be worth it. Here are some tips from OfficeMax and Office Depot. I also threw in a few of my own.
Tips for Black Friday Shopping
Make a list: Make a very detailed list, but include back up items. Since many deals run out quickly, it’s good to have another item as a plan B.
Pick partners wisely: If you are going to bring people, make sure they are on a similar path as you. Black Friday is not a day for browsing or window shopping.
Have a budget: How much do you want to spend on each person? How much do you want to spend in total? It’s easy to just swipe the credit card all day. Make sure you keep your budget in mind.
Check online: So many stores have their Black Friday deals available online now. Last week I actually found a Black Friday coupon code that worked towards my online order. Sometimes you don’t need to leave your house to take advantage of the hot deals. Check out Office Depot’s deal center that is already packed with awesome finds.
Wear comfy shoes: This may seem like a given, but you may be surprised. I have boots that I thought were beyond comfy. After a long day of trekking about, they proved me way wrong. Stick with some tried and trusted gym shoes or your favorites.
Use apps: I just talked about how helpful Shopular can be. Apps can definitely make your day flow more smoothly.
Have fun with it: Sure it might be a crazy day, but you can still make it fun! Download Elf Yourself on your smartphone. Elf your dog, elf your boss, elf everyone while you wait in checkout lines. No stress there!

Neither. Don’t have anything I need to shop for. I shop year round.
I will be waiting for cyber Monday and I already have taken advantage of some awesome deals I already found online. Love the fact I can do it all without leaving the house and dealing with the stress.
