Making trifles is fun, and it’s such an easy dessert option. Just get some kind of cake, your favorite cookies, whipped topping, and pudding.

Cut up the cake. Make the pudding. Crush the cookies. Layer into your fancy dessert dish in this order — cake, pudding, Cool Whip, cookies.

Continue layering in that order until the dish is full. Serve spoonfuls of all the layers and watch guests fall in love with your beautiful dessert.

It’s almost too easy and extremely difficult to mess up. That’s my kind of dessert!

  4. This will work perfectly for the holidays. Can I use pound cake instead of angel food cake?

    1. Jennifer Soltys says:

For sure! Pound cake is not as light in texture, of course, but should still be delicious. These trifles are very versatile, and you can switch up most of the ingredients. Hope you love it!
