Ziploc® Brand Vacuum Sealer System – Great Juicing Tool

Stay on Track with Juicing
In an effort to boost our immune systems and increase our vitamin intake, Mike and I are juicing fresh fruits and veggies regularly. This, however, can be an enormous pain in the rear. If you have ever juiced before, you know it takes a lot of fruits and veggies.
You have to clean them and cut them before putting them in the juicer and it can require many trips to the grocery store. This is why in the past, our juicing kicks don’t last too long.
Of course the Ziploc® Brand Vacuum Sealer System is great for many things. Buying meat in bulk and freezing portions is usually what first comes to my mind. However, I am extra excited about this plan. We buy gigantor bags of carrots and other veggies in bulk from Costco to juice.
They take up huge amounts of space in the fridge and go bad pretty quickly. When it comes time to juice, I have to decide what to juice, wash the pieces, and cut them down to fit into the juicer.
Using the Ziploc® Brand Vacuum Sealer System I set aside some time plan ahead. I now have a feel for how much juice certain mixtures will make. I portion them out and get them all ready and then seal them. That way they are ready to go on busy days. Let me tell you, there are so many times that I make excuses not to juice just because of the prep time it takes. Now, I just slice open the bag and throw the pieces in the juicer.

The Ziploc® Brand Vacuum Sealer System is easy to use and doesn’t take up too much counter space. In our small kitchen, counter tops are prime real estate. Nothing too big or bulky can stick around for long. The Ziploc® Brand Vacuum Sealer System is thin and all business. It can do its job without being large. Of course, you can get bags in all sizes, or even make your own. Using a roll you can cut the size you need and seal one end to make your own bag.
The possibilities are endless with the Ziploc® Brand Vacuum Sealer System. By removing all the air, it compresses the bag to save space and keep foods fresher longer. This can save trips to the grocery store and help eliminate waste.
With the holidays coming up, the Ziploc® Brand Vacuum Sealer System will come in handy even more. Think freezing cookie dough, baked cookies, holiday treats, meats, and other foods. It can also be used to compress non-food items just to make them more compact for storing.
How would you use a Ziploc® Brand Vacuum Sealer System?
I could really use a vacuum sealer for my fresh fruits and veggies. This would so help extend the life of them for huge savings.
I would use that all the time. I am always making extra food when I cook so that I can freeze it!
Oh my goodness! I’d never thought about using a vacuum sealer to prep for smoothies. I am totally loving this idea and need to learn how to use the one we own.
I could really use this for my fruit smoothies. I hate wasting fresh food when I buy in bulk.
I love using my vacuum sealer when I am able to grab meat on markdown to help it freeze better. I never thought to use it to prepackage for smoothies before great idea!!

I use my vacuum sealer ALL THE TIME! I just love it. It is amazing how much fresher food is when it is vacuum sealed! This is a BIG gift idea for any foodie lover.
I’ve tried juicing before but I wasn’t the biggest fan of it. However I AM a big fan of smoothies all the way! That’s really nice how you can vacuum seal your fresh fruits and veggies like that 🙂

I have not seen this in stores, I use Ziplocks products every day though and they never fail me. I will be looking for this system.
This is a great way to store fruits and veggies. If I had a Ziploc® Brand Vacuum Sealer System I would use it to store fruits and veggies and left over food, and pre-cooked dishes for reheating later. This is such a good idea for juicing and I think that I would use it to make meals and have them made for the whole week, so I do not have to cook. Seal each meal and have it in the freezer for the day I need it!
