As long as you aren’t using fat-free or low-fat ingredients, all your ingredients should be low-carb. Double check your ingredient packages if you are watching your macros closely.

Keto Bacon Jalapeño Poppers Ingredients

Here’s what you need to make this easy appetizer recipe. The exact measurements are in the recipe card below.

  • Bacon – You can make slices of bacon or use packaged bacon bits.
  • Jalapeños – Fresh jalapeños sliced lengthwise and with the seeds removed.
  • Cheddar cheese – Shredded.
  • Cream cheese – Softened.
  • Garlic powder.

Easy Jalapeño Poppers Directions

Step One – Get Ready

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with foil and set it aside. Slice your jalapeños lengthwise if you haven’t already and remove all the seeds.

Step Two – Make the Bacon

In a medium skillet, cook the bacon slices until they are crisp. Place them on a plate lined with paper towels to soak up the excess grease. Allow them to cool.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 slice bacon
  • 6 jalapeños sliced lengthwise seeds removed
  • ½ cup cheddar cheese shredded, divided
  • 3 oz cream cheese softened
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400℉ and line a baking sheet with foil.
  • In a medium skillet, cook bacon until it is crisp. Place the bacon on a paper towel-lined plate to absorb excess grease, and allow it to cool.

  • Sprinkle the remaining one-quarter cup of shredded cheddar cheese over the jalapeño poppers.
  • Crumble the cooled bacon over the top of the jalapeño poppers and place the baking sheet in the preheated oven.
  • Bake for 15 minutes or until the jalapeños are tender. Enjoy!
