My Favorite XFINITY App
It’s hard to choose which XFINITY app is my favorite among the many awesome ones that come with the new XFINITY X1 system. XFINITY sponsored this post; all opinions are my own. See more disclosure details below.
Smartphones are starting to control our lives more and more. There’s truly an app for just about everything. I find it fascinating, and love to learn about new apps and ways to make life easier. Technology is rapidly evolving with ways to entertain us and so much more.
With the new XFINITY system, there are several apps that you can download. This is good and bad in different ways.
It’s bad because you need multiple apps instead of just one. But, it’s good because you can choose to download just the ones you want. I prefer it because there’s no need to fiddle around in one app to find what you are looking for. When I hit the XFINITY app for the remote, that’s what I am getting – the remote.
XFINITY App Favorites – My Top Three
1.) Remote: Can’t find the remote? Not a problem when you download the XFINITY TV X1 Remote app. X1 customers can tap, swipe, or shake their smartphones to change channels and browse TV listings. You can use voice commands to search for shows, and get personalized recommendations.
If you are out and about and forgot to schedule the DVR to record a show, you can do that from the app. It’s wonderful and my favorite XFINITY app for sure.
Remember when you lost the remote and had to get up {gasp} off the couch to change the channel? Nonsense, I tell you. I don’t even think that’s an option on our current TV, so I am thankful that the hubby and I both can have the Remote app installed on our phones.

2.) My Account: The XFINITY My Account app is my second favorite. You can pay your bill, check your connection, manage appointments, and troubleshoot technical issues all from the app.
I am sure all of us have experienced waiting on hold, well get this… you can request a callback or chat with an expert on Twitter through the app. No lines and no waiting! This is more than convenience; it’s good for your blood pressure.

3.) WiFi: With the XFINITY WiFi app, you can locate millions of hotspots in cities nationwide. Once you login with your XFINITY info, this app will connect you to these hotspots on the road. It’s an awesome way to save data.
There are hotspots all over the place, and my phone is constantly tapping into one of them as I am driving around.
Available for download on iPhone and Android/Google Play.
Those are my top three favorites, but there are many more to explore, as well. We still haven’t even looked into all of them. Some may say that all these apps are making us lazy as humans. I like to think of it as being more efficient. 😉

I like the XFINITY TV Go. I can access wherever I go like when going on road trips with the kids and staying at places where we can access our tv.

The XFINITY WiFi would be great: Locate and get directions to millions of XFINITY WiFi hotspots in cities nationwide.
Since I don’t have a smartphone or a TV they really wouldn’t work for me.
My favorite app is XFINITY TV Remote. So many times I’m away from home and realize I forgot to set the DVR. To use my phone to set the DVR would be awesome.
I like the XFINITY TV Go because I can watch tv while I’m on the go from any device.

I would like the Remote app because we are always losing our remote at our house and it would be wonderful to access everything on my phone.

The XFINITY TV Go is my favorite app because I like being able to catch up on shows I missed and binge-watch new ones I’ve been wanting to try, especially when I’m away from home.
Love the Xfinity wifi app to find all the hot spots. That comes in very handy for me.

I like the XFINITY Home so you can stay connected to what is going on at your home.
I really like the Xfinity TV Remote. I can use it to set my DVR when I’m NOT HOME!! Woot!
I like the XFINITY Home app. It allows one to receive text and email alerts or access his or her system remotely.
I like the XFINITY TV Go app, it would be nice to have access form anywhere.
I like the XFINITY TV Remote app; it;s is nice to be able to control the TV with my phone or tablet.
The WiFi Finder feature would be nice to have for travelling.
I like the infinity tv remote becuase it would be too cool to use my phone to set my dvr.
TV Go would be great – I spend a LOT of time with my Dad at medical appointments and this could help me catch up on my tv.
The XFINITY TV Remote woud have to e my favorite. I ike the idea that you can record shows via an app. I thnk that is very clever.

I like the facy that we can use a phone as a remote. We don’t lose our phones but always lose the remotes for some reason!

I think the Xfinity TV to GO app would be great to have when we are out and about, and having to wait (like doctors) or traveling.

I like the XFINITY TV Go because you can download TV shows and movies from Showtime, Starz, Encore and Movieplex to your mobile device and watch them when you’re offline.
I’d use TV to Go….because I often find myself away from home and wanting to watch something where it is otherwise not possible.
As a food historian, my favorite feature would be the recipes finder over the internet.
I like the XFINITY TV Remote in case I misplace my remote.
XFINITY TV Go is my pick. I like how I can view tc shows and movies on my tablet, cell phone and computer, not to mention my TV. I can literally stop watching a show and finish it in the car while waiting in pickup line- too cool!
The XFINITY WiF app would be wonderful for finding WIFI while traveling!
I think XFINITY TV Remote would be great! I do not usually GET the remote in my house, my husband has it in his kung fu grip and then always falls asleep early! I am already comfortable on the couch, wrapped in my blanket, I could just use my ipad mini or my phone, which is always by my side. awesome! I will be downloading this now!

My favorite is the XFINITY TV Go App, because it is a great app to have especially when you’re on a family vacation. We are XFINITY customers and they have great service, we’ve been a customer since 2006.
With always losing a remote I like the XFINITY TV Remote app.

I think being able to eliminate remote controls and just use one device like my phone.
I am a former Xfinity (Comcast) customer. When we moved I had to go with Time Warner. I’m not a fan of Comcast. I hate not being able to choose over-cable content providers. But the XFINITY TV Go app is fine. If you belong to premium channels you get most of their titles. Download is as expected on dedicated wi-fi. I got to watch movies at bed time without waking hubby up.
I like the XFINITY TV X1 Remote. I always have my phone near me, so no need searching for the remote.
I love the Xfinitiy TV Go, with kids and a husband and long trips that would help out!! <3

I like XFINITY My Account because it would be easy to check on your bill on the go.

I like the XFINITY TV Go. I can access wherever I go especially when I’m missing sporting events. It’s great to be able to watch my favorite teams play even while out and about.

I like the XFINITY TV G app because I love watching my movies and favorite shows. This would be awesome! I have some apps that I can do this with, but like they said, you have to fiddle around and find certain things within the app.

I love the tv remote app. It is so convenient when I don’t want to search for the real remote. I also like the app that lets you program your dvr from your phone. This comes in handy when I hear about a show that I’d like to watch and can program it immediately!

I’d like the Xfinity TV Remote – sometimes I realize when I’m not home that I forgot to program the DVR to tape something, I wouldn’t necessarily use it to change channels at home – but it would be great for remote setting of the DVR.

Probably the INFINITI WIFI APP would be the most useful, especially for my granddaughter, since she is frequently traveling and needs to be able to identify the hotspots in various areas of the country.

I love them all to be quite honest. The Xfinity TV remote is the one I use the most. I love being able to use my phone to DVR programs and not have to search for the remote control. Thank you for this very convenient app!

There are so many times I want to record a show and then I forget. The XFINITY TV Remote could help me never miss a show! Working longer hours, not getting home when I expect to, remembering a special program… this app could help.
