Smart Security for a She Shed – Man Cave for Ladies

I feel like I keep talking about the fact that I now work from home exclusively. That’s because it’s been quite the adjustment. Working from home means you live at work. It’s a challenge to avoid distractions and/or to stop working. Mike keeps telling me I need an office. I think I need a She Shed! Even walking to the backyard to a separate little building can be like going to the office. It’s easier to set work hours and not think about the laundry or other household chores until you get back into the house.

As much as I love the idea of a She Shed, some questions have come to my mind. How will I make sure the internet is strong enough? How will I secure the shed? What about lighting and – for the love of everything – coffee? Yes, I am an over thinker that tends to talk myself out of projects. Thankfully, Best Buy has an answer for most of my questions.
My biggest concern is security. Our house was already broken into; I don’t need to entice anyone to the backyard, as well. My She Shed would most definitely be locked up tightly. Best Buy has the August Smart Lock, which is just as the name states – smart. Control the locks from your phone. No keys to mess with, and you can invite others to gain access. I love this so much I can’t handle it.
